This special work was created during the final weeks of my mother Doris Myers’s life who passed away peacefully on March 6, 2024. Most recently on display at my solo show in the Lilian Fendig Gallery.

Interior view of the weight system created from a bowl Mom had thrown that fit the space perfectly, holding a bronze casting of her “artist’s” hand I had cherished for many years. For me, discovering these precious items to resolve the balance of the vessel was magical and fate… Thanks, Mom. We miss you.
