This series is inspired by the creations of the ancient Hopewell Culture which created and buried effigies of hands in their mound graves as a way to connect the spirit world with the living world.

Each copper hand is unique and selectively embellished, in this case with a beautiful gemstone bead, accented with a decorative copper ring. This hand was forged, textured and finished with a rustic patina that is sealed for a stable finish. The copper ball chain is 30” long but can easily be shortened. The actual hand measures almost 2 1/2” tall and 1 1/4” wide. This light weight necklace will compliment any outfit, from casual to dressy.
