A talisman is a very special object, believed to possess magical powers and intended to empower the wearer, bringing good luck. This one-of-a-kind assemblage pendant is created from treasured natural and found materials. stitched together on a forged copper backing. It measures a little over 5” from the top of hand forged pendant to the bottom of the feather and is about 21/2” wide. Materials include barks, forged copper with sealed patina, found objects, dogwood twig, metal & glass beads, feathers, crinoid fossil, all stitched to the bark, then to a forged copper layer, riveted to a forged & textured foundation. The thick leather cord has hand forged findings and is 30” in length.
