One of a kind assemblage pendant of natural and found materials, stitched to a forged copper backing with sealed patina. A “talisman” is a powerful object created with carefully selected materials intended to bring good fortune and creative inspiration o the wearer. This work incorporates several types of bark, willow twig, pheasant feathers, guinea hen feather, window screening, a turquoise gemstone bead, ancient crinoid fossil with other accent beads and forged copper wire, all stitched together with waxed linen thread. This smaller pendant measures 4” tall (from the bottom of the crinoid bead) to, about 2” wide. The round polished cotton cord necklace with hand forged findings is 29” in length, .
